The name “Cats Who Code” came from the founder immoderate love for these sweet, friendly and funny animals (And also because domains like webdevblog.com were already taken).

About Jean

Jean-Baptiste JungMy name is Jean-Baptiste Jung and I’m a 28 years old web developer and professional blogger. I was born and raised in Paris, France and I now live in Belgium with my wife and our adorable cat. I first used the internet in 1998, built my first website in 2001 and finally started to work as a profesional web developer in 2005.
Althought I attended some web development courses, I am mostly self-taught, and proud of it.

I am the writer of the WordPress Cookbook, a regular author of Smashing Magazine and own a dozen of websites, including WpRecipes.com, CatsWhoBlog, Coupons for Bloggers and PsdVibe.

Apart than internet related things, I have a deep passion for animals and believe they are equal to humans. I’m a supporter of various animal-rights
organizations, including the well-know Peta.
